Urban Connect Home Loan
As announced in recent Western Australian government media statements, we're pleased to announce our new Urban Connect Home Loan product. This product, designed to support the Western Australian Government's infill priority, will run as a pilot capped at 300 loans. More details and criteria will be released soon.
Loan feature:
- Deposit as low as 2%
- No lender's mortgage insurance
- Available for medium and high-density apartments (minimum of two bedrooms), giving you more choice in where you live and what you can buy
- Available for off-the-plan apartments, with developer deposit funding options.
- Urban locations and close to transport hubs
- For owner-occupiers only, meaning you need to live in your home during the life of your Keystart loan, not rent it out. This loan product is not available for investors.

Considering an off-the-plan apartment?
If you're interested in an off-the-plan apartment (meaning it hasn't been built yet), you may be interested Urban Connect Plus. Urban Connect Plus is a specially designed loan to cover the developer’s deposit for an off-the-plan apartment if you don’t have funds available upfront. Off-the-plan apartments are eligible for (stamp) duty concessions and the first home owner grant.

Are suburbs near METRONET precincts eligible for Urban Connect Home Loan?
AUrban Connect is currently available for suburbs in the inner metro areas or near selected railtransport hubs. It is not currently available for areas around METRONET Phase 1 stations.
